He uses this as leverage for Donkey Kong to be released, Diddy instead of complying enlists his girlfriend Dixie to rescue Donkey Kong. Rool, he then asks Kong for the Banana Hoard that he could not steal from the previous game. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong’s Quest starts with Donkey Kong relaxing on the beach and is ambushed. Earn extra lives by collecting balloons, bananas, or four letters that spell out KONG. Levels have their mechanics like swimming, swinging through vines, or riding a minecart. Recruit animal friends to finish levels easier. Choose between Diddy, agile, and faster or Dixie, who can jump and spin her hair to float. Underwater segments are included and have their hazards for you to avoid. Fight Kremlings, rats, porcupines, bees, and vultures. Set on Crocodile Isle, eight varying worlds totaling fifty-two, everything would be bananas! A side-scrolling platformer, you control either Diddy or his girlfriend dixie. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest is a sequel to the first Donkey Kong adventure.
